I Don't Want To Talk About It
Ron was away visiting relatives darn sarf.
It was another quiet-ish February night in The Habit, but there were enough players to keep things going. Duo Leo (guitar and harmonica) and Kat (violin) entertained us with The Kingston Trio's Tom Dooley, the folk standard Shady Grove and Woody Guthrie's Greenback Dollar; they brought the house down! Two lads from north of the border took it in turns to sing, the first, Bob Dylan's The Man In Me and the second, George Harrison's Something. For my first set I chose some self-penned tunes suitable for a pre-Valentine's Day performance. As usual, a few players got to go around again towards the end of the evening and I was called upon to close out the show.
