Paolozzi's Vulcan

It's gone on tour apparently - and is replaced by a new sculpture called DNA DL90 by Abigail Fallis, consisting of several shopping carts stacked vertically around a central pole.

  1. Yes, the shopping trolleys have been there weeks. They're about as inspiring as Aldi and as profound as my Irish arse.

  2. Yesterday was the first time I'd been around there in ages. At the risk of sounding like a Philistine, I didn't like the Paolozzi either. I could see the reason behind it but it is a mess aesthetically. Still, he's a bigger name than Abigail Fallis, so I guess we should be grateful and get on with it, m'lud.
