Joey Barton: does what it says on the tin. Unfortunately.

Getting soundly beaten by Liverpool (again) was nothing more than I expected. The defence looked cagey and the midfield - with the exception of Duff (which is not something I can say too often) - were once again awful, but Barton is on another planet altogether. A great way to repay the loyalty of the club, the manager and all those fans that have stuck with him (granted, they tend to be no necks or employed by the Chronicle) and consider him 'passionate' as opposed to a 'liability'.

I hope to God it's the last we see of him in a black and white shirt.

An example of Joey's 'passionate' style, which, sadly, wasn't punished with a red card.

  1. If it wasn't for Harper it would have been a rugby score.
