The bar was busy for most of the evening and the open mic had more than enough players. Our host Simon kicked off with a Dylan rarity, Mama, You Been On My Mind. A new chap had everyone joining in with Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. Dave from Leeds entertained,as usual, with Willie Nelson's Funny How Time Slips Away and one hit wonder Pinball by Brian Protheroe. Da Elderly was roped in to back taxi-driver Chris on Neil Young's Birds and Sam Cooke's Bring It On Home To Me. The after-show jam went on very late with a good crowd shouting out requests and joining in throughout. Another stonkingly good night in The Habit!
