The success of recent open mic nights prompted our host to restrict players to 2 instead of 3 songs and yet again The Habit didn't let us down. There were half a dozen-or-so new players, some visiting during the Easter Holidays. One or two were exceptional, but no makeweights anywhere to be seen. A young lass sang two original songs with a voice so pure and sweet, but a guy with a voice just made for ballads rather let himself down with a jaunty number. There were excellent renditions of It's All Over Now Baby Blue and a completely unexpected Crosstown Traffic! Finally our host followed a well received Elderly Brothers set to close out the open mic. Unplugged acoustic mayhem followed after a short pause for refreshment.
