A splendid debut by new host David Ward Maclean made this a very enjoyable open mic night. A nice variety of players added to the fun and a surprise visit by a party from Tyneside was the icing on the cake. This party included a founder member of the Friday Night Boys seen on the right of the picture (taken by the host during the after-show sing-along). As it was Neil Young's 69th birthday (Happy Birthday Neil!!) the sing-along consisted almost entirely of Neil covers, interspersed with the odd comic ditty and a version of He'll Have To Go by The Elderly Brothers. A crackin' night!
