It was freshers 'daft' night which included folks dressed in togas or football strips (plenty of Toon shirts on show) and idiots hanging off shop fronts/lamp posts etc. Gladly they all bypassed The Habit. Wherever these youngsters went for refreshment remains a mystery, because the middle of town was dead. Apart from the small number of players at the open mic, there were few punters to be seen either. Nevertheless The Elderlys enjoyed an extended set at the end of the evening and a post-show jam which included attempts to play as many songs off the All Things Must Pass LP as we could, plus a few Harrisongs from the Beatles years - most enjoyable.
The main show included a new Da song and 3 'new' songs from The Elderlys: by Herman's Hermits, Johnny Kidd & The Pirates and the traditional Midnight Special.
