Margaret Thatcher RIP

There's no getting away from this, I suppose. The most divisive British leader that I can remember - although voted in three times...

Check http://www.guardian.co.uk/ for comments that will be anywhere from a reasonably balanced rational critique to frothing Spartism, but avoid the readers' comments unless you want to be reminded of the appalling lack of knowledge that lies behind them.

This site's naturally going to me more respectful and positive about her work: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/

Whereas this site, conveniently ignoring her stance on Europe,  is probably ready to invade Poland  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html

Here's the local spin (I'll avoid the Chronicle's views and let it follow its unique journalistic path that somehow involves mentioning Denise Welch every other story): http://www.journallive.co.uk/north-east-news/todays-news/2013/04/09/margaret-thatcher-in-death-as-in-life-the-iron-lady-divides-us-all-61634-33140367/
