    I used to love the Duke of Welly - Not quite the same now, sadly...

    Now I've read back, in retrospect I get this obviously inside joke, Sirs!

    A great pub, though it smells occaionally. Possibly the toilets; possibly the underground stream and the dampness associated with it. That's where we are in the picture below.

    The deed will be done today, while The Reds take on Arsenal. While I act as look-out, PJ wil be inside working his muscular magic. He has been advised to retain some of the original'artwork'. There will be a pictorial update later.

    Once upon a time. I still strongly feel that Newcastle doesn't quite appreciate its beauty and its history, and its beer...
