York was very quiet on a raw and bone-freezing January night. Nevertheless there was a very good turnout from both punters and players. Ron was joined by local harmonica virtuoso Tim Williams on his set. Service at the bar was temporarily curtailed (with everyone's agreement) so that barmaid Hollie could sing for us all. Her renditions of Valerie and Summertime brought the house down. Tim joined the Elderly Brothers for our first outing of 2019 and we finished with the audience asking for more.....what more could we ask for?
I can reveal that there will be another Elderly Brothers show at The Habit on Saturday 9th February, 9pm -12 midnight. Free entry and a well-stocked bar!!
