Set 1: -
The Sound Of Silence
To Know Her Is To Love Her
Then I Kissed Her
Things We Said Today
You're Going To Lose That Girl
Set 2: -
Three Wheels On My Wagon
Crying In The Rain
An early first set for the Elderlys at a packed Habit. Turns old and new kept the punters happy, with a rare outing for Simple Twist Of Fate from one seasoned strummer. The highlight of the evening was a short set from ex-Seahorses Chris Helme.
As it was last week, The Elderly Brothers closed the proceedings; this time with an Everlys classic and a first outing for the New Christy Minstrels 1962 comic ditty Three Wheels On My Wagon, which had many of the audience singing along. The song was written in 1961 - lyrics by Bob Hilliard and music by Burt Bacharach.
