    Wow. I wish I could move to Newcastle upon Tyne just to be a Friday Night Boy. I live in Los Angeles and there is nothing here as civilized as a weekly social gathering dedicated to the celebration and lamentation of the waxing and waning of our culture.

    I'm afraid that life in the good old USA has been reduced to a tedious, uninspired struggle for nothing more than survival. Passion, joy and risk has given way to fear and techno-geek isolation.

    So tip a glass for me, dance on the bar, and relish in the joy of being alive and the fact that you have a soul that needs to be replenished as well as your bank account.
