York was surprisingly busy on a mild night between Bank Holidays. As has been the case in recent weeks, we started off the open mic night with only a few players, but as time passed, folks arrived and added their names to the list. A new guy, Paul (photo 1) showed good skills and song choices with John Lennon's Working Class Hero and Tom Waits' Long Way Home. Regular Dave (photo 2) dug out Graham Nash's Oh! Camil (The Winter Soldier) and everyone sang along with CSN's Helplessly Hoping. Once again The Elderlys closed the show and were joined by regular Debbie for the after-show acoustic jam.
