At The Habit, York: -
Love Letters In The Sand
Out Of The Blue
I Don't Want It All
Everybody's Talkin'
In the absence of Ron Elderly (on holiday) there was no Elderly Brothers music this week. The joint was rockin' from the off with a surfeit of players. Some only got 2 or 3 songs later on. A new trio (unnamed); vocalist, guitar and clarinet, made an impact with their jazz-tinged delivery. There were one or two shouters, but that didn't really detract from a buzzing night, closed out with 3 Bowie numbers: Space Oddity, Ashes To Ashes and The Jean Genie. The after show jam descended into a Beatles/Neil Young/Bonzos music-fest. A most enjoyable evening/morning!
