    I loved his work, but then an art instructor called him a hack and I haven't looked at his work since.

    Until now.

    I've visited Wyeth's home several times. It's now a museum and many of these paintings are on display there. When seen in person, especially, they exert an energetic force that dispells any accusation that their creator was a "hack".
    Outside the Wyeth home is the lonely strip of railroad track where N.C. ended his days. He drove his car onto the track and placidly sat in wait of the train.

    If I could produce 'hack work' like this, I'd be more than happy - and I suspect a lot of successful illustrators would be too!
