THE Friday Boys are a disparate group of men spread across Tyneside who meet once a week - 'always on a Friday' - to talk about the arts, raise a glass to recently departed heroes and villains and, at the evening's end, down a whisky or two. The FBs have only one golden rule - talk of the working week is strictly off-limit.

Only when I blew this up did I realise how frightening it was. You're holding your jaw firmly there and I don't blame you. What was he over here for? I'm a "Celebrity" - Kiss My Ass"?
David is staying at the Vermont until Saturday and will be out on Friday night. He's a great guy, full of funny stories. He's particularly interested in meeting Da and Dave. But be warned - he was Michael Jackson's best man.
